Free Health and Wellness Class Thursday Evenings 5-6pm

by Dr. Karen Cann on July 26, 2011

The World Health Organization – WHO – defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

How often have you heard the phrase “You are nothing without your health” or “Your health is everything”?

Do you think this is true? Do most of us take our health for granted until we actually get sick?

My Thursday evening health and wellness classes are a casual and easy way for you to meet me face-to-face and ask questions relating to your specific needs.

I know that if we all learned to focus more on lifestyle issues, we could drastically change the health of most individuals. I strongly believe our overall health and well-being greatly improves by just doing simple things such as eating whole foods, doing regular exercise, getting enough sleep, maintaining a healthy body weight, limiting our alcohol use, and avoiding smoking.

So ask yourself:  Are you presently not feeling well? Are you sick?

What do you feel like when you are sick?

I would love to show you how you can make just a few changes to your life to make yourself healthier.

How often do you get sick?

How do you define being sick?

Do you have allergies or pain that you just “live with”? High blood pressure? High cholesterol? Diabetes? Insomnia? Depression? Irritable bowel? Indigestion? Chronic fatigue? Are you overweight?

Have you ever felt: “I need to be in better shape”, “I wish I could loose weight”, I wish I could be stronger”, “I wish I had more energy”, “I wish I knew how to eat better”, “I wish I could sleep better”, or “I wish I knew what types of exercise would be best for me”?

Transformation both begins and ends with your health.

Well, if any of this message hits a cord with you, you should come to one of my weekly health and wellness classes!  I provide them to the community for free.  All you have to do is call or email my office to reserve a spot.

Remember, Knowledge is Power.  And Power Applied is Change.

There’s no obligation. Just good education for anyone that truly wants to make a difference in their health and well-being.

RSVP by calling my office at (850) 916-9304 or sending me an email.  I look forward to meeting you.
